  1. A family enjoying the private pool together

    8 – 25 guests · one villa

    Families

    A weekend with the kids.

Pick the villa that fits — the whole place is yours, no other guests.

Match the villa to your crowd: the Casita sleeps eight to ten, or Villa 1's three bedrooms take a twenty-five-strong reunion. Whichever you book, the whole compound is yours — your own hot-spring pool, your own kitchen, nobody else on the grounds.

Saturday runs slow. The kids live in the pool, the grandparents claim the lanai, and once the grill is lit the dining hall turns into a videoke room. The water stays warm long after the little ones are down.

    How the day goes

    • Kids in the pool all morning
    • Grandparents on the shaded lanai
    • BBQ and videoke after dark
    • Pool warm past midnight
  2. A barkada relaxing together by the private pool

    20 – 40 guests · one villa

    Groups

    Reunions, birthdays, despedidas.

One villa sized to the crew — private pool, private dining hall, no one else on it.

Book the one villa that fits the headcount — Villa 1 for twenty to twenty-five, Villa 2 for twenty-five to thirty, Villa 3 for up to forty. One booking, one private compound, no other barkada sharing your pool.

Bring the food and the drinks, fire up the BBQ, and let the dining hall become the videoke room. The hot-spring pool runs late — how late is your call.

    How the day goes

    • Bring your own food and drinks
    • Grill going by afternoon
    • Videoke in the dining hall
    • Hot-spring pool late into the night

    Small offsites that actually work.

The dining hall is your work room; the pool is the break.

The villa's dining hall doubles as the work room — long table, fast Wi-Fi, full power, and the whole place to your team. Size it from ten around one table to forty in the largest villa.

Break when you need to: the private pool is a few steps away, the kitchen and grill handle lunch, and we can invoice the company directly.

About

  • What is California Beach Pansol?

California Beach Pansol is a family-led property of four standalone private-pool villas in the Pansol hot-spring district of Calamba, Laguna — about 1 hour from Manila by car. Each villa is fully private, with its own pool fed by natural hot-spring water from Mt. Makiling; when you book a villa, the whole space is yours, with no other group sharing it. You simply reserve the one villa sized to your group — from the Casita for couples to Villa 3 for a 35-to-40-person celebration. Filipino families, barkadas, and small corporate offsites are the regulars here. 4.7-star average across 500+ Google reviews. You book direct on our own site at californiapansol.com.

Location

  • Where is California Beach Pansol? How far from Manila?

The property is at 965 National Highway, Pansol, Calamba, Laguna 4027 — about 75 km south of Manila by car via SLEX and the Bucal exit. Door-to-door from Makati or BGC runs 1 hour; allow extra time during Friday evenings or holiday Saturdays. The site sits at the base of Mt. Makiling in Laguna's hot-spring belt, with the brand-defining mineral water surfacing on the property. Coordinates: 14.1782, 121.1836. A Google Maps pin is on the Contact section.

  • How do we get to Pansol from Manila by car, Grab, or bus?

By car: from Makati or BGC, C5 → SLEX → Bucal Exit → Bucal Bypass → National Highway, then a few minutes east — the property is on the right-hand side. About 1 hour door-to-door; allow extra time during heavy traffic windows. By Grab: one-way from BGC or Makati is the simplest option for groups arriving in one vehicle, same route as the drive. By bus: take a Sta. Cruz or Lucena-bound provincial bus from Buendia or Cubao, alight at the Calamba Crossing, then a short trike or Grab to the property. Driving directions, a Google Maps pin, and the Pansol/Calamba landmarks are on the Contact section.

Villas

  • How many villas does the property have? What's the per-villa capacity?

Four standalone villas, each fully private with its own hot-spring pool — you book the one sized to your group: the Casita for 8 to 10 guests (couples and small families), Villa 1 for 20 to 25, Villa 2 for 25 to 30, and Villa 3 for 35 to 40, the choice for the biggest barkada and family celebrations. No two groups share a villa: your pool, kitchen, and parking are yours for the stay. Villa 2 adds a convertible air-conditioned cottage for extra sleeping, and Villa 3 has a garden with a swing chair and a pool basketball ring. Check each villa's page for the full layout, or message reservations and we'll match a villa to your headcount.

  • Do all villas have private pools? Are they hot-spring fed?

Yes — every villa has its own private pool, and every pool is filled with natural hot-spring water from the Mt. Makiling springs. The water is chlorine-free and kept at a regulated temperature, so it stays comfortable whether you swim at noon or at midnight. Pools are exclusive to each villa's guests — there is no shared or communal pool, and no other group ever shares your villa's pool. Sizes and layouts vary: the larger villas have full-size pools for the whole group, Villa 3's runs deeper at one end for soaking (and has a basketball ring), while the Casita's is the most compact, scaled for couples. It's the same mineral hot-spring water that has drawn Manila families to Pansol for generations.

  • How big are the pools and jacuzzis at each villa?

Every villa has both a private hot-spring pool and its own jacuzzi. Sizes scale with the villa: the Casita has a compact pool (about 5 metres) built for couples and small families, while Villa 1, Villa 2, and Villa 3 have full-size pools with room for the whole group — Villa 3's even has a pool basketball ring, and its deep end is shaped for soaking rather than laps. Every pool draws the same chlorine-free hot-spring water from Mt. Makiling, kept at a comfortable regulated temperature day or night. For the exact layout of a specific villa, check its villa page or message us before you book.

  • Is there a shared pool? Will other groups be on the property when we stay?

No shared pool — each villa's pool is for that villa's guests only, and there's no communal pool to compete for. Each villa is its own private compound: when you book a villa, its pool, kitchen, and parking are yours alone. The other villas may host separate, unrelated groups, but you'll never share water, kitchen, or parking with them. So for a big group or an event, you don't book a section of the property — you book the one villa sized to your headcount (up to 35 to 40 in Villa 3) and have it entirely to yourselves.

Amenities

  • Where does the hot-spring water come from? Is it safe to soak in?

The water is natural hot-spring water from Mt. Makiling — rain that fell on the mountain, percolated through volcanic rock, picked up its minerals, and surfaces on the property. It's chlorine-free and kept at a regulated temperature, so it's comfortable to soak in day or night. Soaking in warm mineral water is relaxing for tired muscles, but keep it sensible: hydrate between soaks, take breaks, and supervise children in the pool. If you're pregnant or managing a heart condition, check with your doctor before a long warm soak. Flag anything relevant at booking and our team will help you plan around it.

  • Can we bring our own food? Is there corkage? Catering options?

Yes — outside food and drinks are welcome at no corkage. The villa kitchens are equipped for crowd-cooking and the BBQ grills are ready; pack the boodle-fight ingredients, the lechon, the cases of beer, the buko pie from the drive in. Whole-roast or lechon carries a small corkage. Prefer not to cook? If you'd like a caterer, mobile bar, boodle feast, or butler, those are paid add-ons — give us about three days' notice so we can clear access and pre-stage power and water. We can also recommend trusted local caterers and lechoneros; just ask at booking.

  • Is there parking on the property? How many cars?

Yes — free, gated, on-property parking, and each villa has its own dedicated parking (room for about four cars per villa), so cars don't share lanes or block each other. Accessible parking for PWD guests is available on request. If your group splits the drive across several cars, message us ahead of arrival so we can sequence the gate. Buses and larger vehicles can't be accommodated at the gate. Parking is included in the rate.

  • How is the Wi-Fi? Is there aircon in every room?

Wi-Fi reaches the pool — verified by guests who actually try to work from the lanai. The network is fibre-backed and sized for groups of twenty-plus to stream and video-call at the same time. Every bedroom has air-conditioning; common rooms in the larger villas have ceiling fans plus AC. Pansol nights run cooler than Manila — bring a light layer for the evenings on the lanai. If a unit is acting up during your stay, message us and the maintenance team responds same-day. Power outages are rare; see the next FAQ for backup details.

  • What happens if there's a power outage during our stay?

Pansol's grid is generally stable, but Laguna brownouts do happen, most often in typhoon season, and most are brief. If a weather advisory or a longer outage is forecast (PAGASA red signal or a local advisory), reservations will reach out ahead of your stay to talk through options, including a penalty-free reschedule under our weather policy. If anything goes out during your stay, message us and the on-site team will sort it out.

Booking

  • What's included in the villa rate?

The rate covers exclusive use of your villa — its private hot-spring pool and jacuzzi, the kitchen and BBQ grill, fast Wi-Fi, air-conditioned bedrooms, and your villa's own parking for the booking window. No corkage on outside food and drinks — bring the groceries, the cooler, the lechon (whole-roast/lechon carries a small corkage). Meals are not included: cook your own or fire up the grill. Towels are available for rental (they're not free), and extras like catering, a mobile bar, a boodle feast, a butler, or a massage are paid add-ons arranged on request. Live rates are shown when you book on our site — no quote-by-form friction.

  • What are the check-in and check-out times?

Check-in and check-out are staggered by villa so the gate doesn't bottleneck. Villa 1: 1:00 PM check-in, 11:00 AM check-out. Villa 2: 4:00 PM / 2:00 PM. Villa 3: 5:00 PM / 3:00 PM. Casita: 12:00 NN / 10:00 AM. Early check-in or late check-out is ₱1,000 per hour, subject to availability — request it at booking or message us ahead. Reception is staffed 8 AM to 8 PM; arrivals or departures outside those hours can be arranged in advance. There's no waiting area for early arrivals, so it's best to confirm your window before you set out.

  • Do you offer day passes or day-use visits without an overnight stay?

Yes — we offer day-use and night-use visits to a villa's private hot-spring pool and grounds, without an overnight stay. These passes aren't on the public booking calendar; they're arranged on request and subject to availability, so tell us your date, preferred window, and group size and we'll confirm the villa and the rate. Send the request through the Day Pass page on our site or message reservations directly. Same privacy as an overnight booking — the pool and grounds you reserve are yours, not shared with another group.

  • What should we bring for a Pansol weekend?

Bring the food, the drinks, and the people. Specifically: groceries for the meals you plan to cook, pasalubong staples like buko pie and espasol from the drive in, a light layer for the cooler Pansol evenings, slippers for the pool deck, swimwear, and your own towels and toiletries (towels are available for rental on site, but we highly encourage bringing your own). Floaties, pool toys, and a waterproof speaker are popular adds. Your villa comes with a kitchen and a BBQ grill; message us at booking if you need anything specific set up. Leave behind the shared-pool gripes and the 10 PM quiet-hours mindset — your villa is yours.

  • How do we book — direct or through an OTA?

Book direct at californiapansol.com — you'll see live availability and reserve straight from the site. To confirm, we ask for full payment (we'll send simple payment and proof-of-payment instructions); your dates are held for 24 hours while that comes through. Direct is the fastest way to reach our own team and gives you first call on early check-in, late check-out, and event scheduling. We're rolling out listings on travel platforms like Airbnb and Agoda for guests who prefer an OTA on a first stay — but wherever you find us, repeat guests come back to direct for the quicker reply and the flexibility.

  • Why book direct instead of through Agoda or Airbnb?

Two reasons. First, response time — book direct and you reach our own team fast through the website chat and email on weekdays, instead of routing through an OTA's message queue. Second, flexibility — direct guests get first call on early check-in, late check-out, added guests, vendor coordination, and event scheduling, none of which the travel platforms surface cleanly. If you first find us on Airbnb or Agoda, your next stay belongs on californiapansol.com.

  • What is the cancellation policy?

Full payment confirms your booking, and all payments are non-refundable — we don't offer cash refunds. In place of cancelling, you can reschedule: 3 weeks (21 days) or more before check-in, rescheduling is allowed subject to a 50% rescheduling fee (half the villa rate) and availability; less than 3 weeks before check-in, rescheduling can't be entertained and the booking is forfeited. In the event of an official weather advisory affecting safe travel or your stay, you may reschedule once within 30 days of your original date without penalty, subject to availability. Because payments are non-refundable, we strongly recommend travel insurance for unforeseen personal emergencies. The full terms are shown at booking and in your confirmation email.

  • Can we move our dates after booking?

Yes — rescheduling is how we handle date changes, since bookings are non-refundable. With 3 weeks (21 days) or more notice before check-in, you can reschedule subject to a 50% rescheduling fee (half the villa rate) and availability on the new dates; less than 3 weeks before check-in, the booking can't be moved. Weather advisories are the exception — if an official advisory affects safe travel or your stay, you can reschedule once within 30 days of the original date without penalty. Same-villa moves are easier to fit than switching villas, and higher-demand dates (holiday weekends, peak summer) may carry a rate difference. Message [email protected] to arrange it.

Guests

  • Is the property family-friendly? What about pets?

Family-friendly by design — every villa has its own pool, no shared facilities, and no quiet hours, so the kids can swim without competing with strangers. The pool water is natural hot-spring water kept at a comfortable regulated temperature, so supervise little ones the way you would in any warm pool. Pets are welcome by prior arrangement, with a few rules — they're kept out of the villa interiors and a small pet fee applies — so please disclose any pets at booking and reservations will confirm the details. Service animals are accommodated on request.

  • Is Pansol safe at night? Is the property gated?

Pansol is a residential barangay of Calamba with a long-established weekend-rental economy and routine barangay and police presence on the National Highway. The property is fully gated, with 24-hour security and CCTV around the grounds (none inside the villas, for privacy). There's no street-level access to the villas — every entrance is internal to the compound, so deliveries, late-arriving cars, and barkada members joining mid-stay are coordinated through the gate and the property stays closed to non-guests. Reception is staffed 8 AM to 8 PM; if you'll arrive later, arrange it in advance and the gate will be ready for you.

Events

  • Can we host barkada celebrations or corporate offsites?

Yes — birthdays, despedidas, debuts, christenings, reunions, anniversaries, and corporate offsites are the property's bread and butter. You book the one villa sized to your group and it's yours alone for the stay — no shared spaces, no other group on your villa. Villa 3 hosts the biggest gatherings at 35 to 40 guests; the other villas scale down from there. Outside caterers, mobile bars, a boodle feast, photographers, KTV, and event stylists are welcome as paid add-ons with about three days' notice so we can clear access and route power. Email [email protected] for an event quote and our team will turn around a proposal, usually within a day on weekdays.
